Presentation and Q&A with Dr. Fenley, Director Addictive Disease Services, SMA Healthcare
Dr. Fenley, author of “Finding a Purpose in the Pain,” has over 33 years of experience in Addiction Medicine. A graduate of Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee Medical School, Dr. Fenley is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine, and has served more than ten years as the Chairman of the Southeastern Conference on Addictive Diseases and the Cape Cod Symposium on Addictive Disorders, as well as other national addiction conference planning committees.
Dr. Fenley’s approach to the treatment of addiction combines compassion with science, as he promotes concurrently addressing the emotional pain that underlies physical addiction, in addition to the use of medication to assist the treatment process.
