Program Director – Medication-Assisted Treatment Services
The Florida Behavioral Health Association is seeking to hire a Program Director to manage a statewide Medication Assisted Treatment Program in the state of Florida.
This position is responsible for the implementation, management, and continued growth of a statewide program that provides medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders for eligible individuals (e.g., court involvement, low income). The position must support and accomplish the following objectives:
• Achieve and maintain compliance with contract goals and objectives as well as compliance with applicable Florida and federal laws and regulations.
• Timely achievement of all contract deliverables and submission of reports.
• Inform Management Team of program achievements, as well as industry trends and research that may impact program goals and objectives.
• Provide technical assistance and training to contracted treatment providers and other stakeholders to ensure quality services are provided.
Education/Skills Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field. Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of four years’ experience in substance use treatment modalities with a special focus on medication-assisted treatment.
• A minimum of four years of supervisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to relate and engage stakeholders (e.g., leadership and medical staff of Florida’s behavioral health treatment providers and government agencies).
Physical Requirements:
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk, hear, and sit or stand for extended periods of time and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel. The employee will be required to travel and must be able to operate a moving vehicle. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
