Job Posting: CSU Psychiatrist

The prescriber is responsible and provides direct psychiatric and medical assessment and treatment to those who arrive to the facility or are admitted to the unit. Through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and discharge planning for consumers the psychiatrist has overall clinical responsibility for the consumer’s treatment and staff’s delivery of clinical services. Additionally, where applicable, will be required to provide direct, individual supervision to staff members and student interns in promoting growth. Contributes and actively assists in the program’s policies and procedures. Additionally, assures that facility is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws. Possession of valid professional Florida license to practice medicine. M.D. or D.O., Board Certified or Board Eligible in psychiatry. Valid DEA license. Desire a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Psychiatrist. This is a 100% direct service position that requires availability to work irregular hours, including evenings, overnights, and weekends; as well as on-call duties.
