The Florida Behavioral Health Association is seeking to hire a MAT Program Manager to support the management of the statewide Medication Assisted Treatment Program in the state of Florida. This program supports and funds treatment providers around Florida that serve individuals with substance use disorder diagnosis who are court ordered offenders or at-risk of involvement with the justice system. FBHA is looking for a professional committed to providing quality services and work products. This professional must:

  • Keep abreast of state and federal regulations governing licensing and accreditation of substance use treatment providers,
  • Manage and provide oversight of the contracts between FBHA and the substance use treatment providers
  • Have knowledge of the clinical aspects of medication assisted treatment for substance use disorders,
  • Provide technical assistance and support to treatment providers
  • Review and process data submitted for accuracy; calculate and interpret statistically relevant data points
  • Achieve and maintain compliance with contract goals, objectives and requirements, Florida laws and regulations, and applicable federal laws and regulations.

 

Education/Skills Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field, master’s degree is preferred
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in substance use treatment modalities with a special focus on medication assisted treatment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills
